I remember when Scholarpedia was brand new and completely empty. Today I found Daniel Dennett curates an article there on his Multiple Drafts model of consciousness. Poking around, I found a bunch of other great stuff. Here goes:
- Multiple drafts model of consciousness
- Sine-wave speech
- Synesthesia
- Cybernetics
- Models of emotion
- Magnetic resonance imaging
- Functional magnetic resonance imaging
The fMRI article makes no mention of recent pattern classification/MVPA techniques… but neither does the fMRI Wikipedia article. Still room to grow!

Great blog! Your research sounds very interesting. I too am a composer and graduate student (studying neuroscience and philosophy). Feel free to check out my blog at: http://www.philosophytorres.blogspot.com. Also, is your music available anywhere on this site?

Hey, thanks. Not much of my music is up yet, but I’ll get around to revamping the non-blog content here soon and more of it will see the light.
Your blog is pretty darn interesting, and you can count me among your readers. I very much like your defense of the humanities, especially the discussion of discipline chauvinism. It reminds me of The Two Cultures, where CP Snow talks about scientists thinking Dickens was a really challenging author, a little too deep, for them, maybe. It’s interesting how the tide has turned.
